Making Your Home Sing Monday Linky Party

Making your home sing Mondays

Welcome to the Making Your Home Sing Monday linky party!  Every day you are doing something to make your house into a home for yourself and your family (if you have one).

My point with each Monday post is, what are YOU doing or going to do today to make your home sing?  It can be an attitude or an action. So have fun, do some blog hopping, and link up!  Thanks!

Topics can include marriage, parenting, encouraging women, organization, cleaning, saving money, our behavior and attitudes, homemaking, homeschooling, recipes.....the opportunities are endless.

Thanks for joining the party!  You guys are awesomely amazing and amazingly awesome!  Don't forget to visit one another and try to leave a comment on at least one blog to encourage someone today!  :)

On the left sidebar (down towards the bottom) is the "Making Your Home Sing! Monday" button which I'd love for you to grab and paste into your post!  It is a "no-follow" button.

I think I've finally got my cleaning into a rhythm.

I hate playing catch up and so I always try and clean my kitchen after every meal so that I wake up to a clean kitchen in the morning.

But when I get really busy there are some routine chores that I will sacrifice and let go in the name of being busy.

For example, I will skip mopping my floors that week.  And maybe the next week.  Or even the week after that if I'm desperate.

Gasp!!!!!

How long have YOU gone without mopping the kitchen floor?

I finally decided to change up my cleaning routine and dust and vacuum on one day and then mop the floors on the following day.

I didn't think that I could do that with two dogs in the house but so far it's working out.

I guess I thought that our beagle would shed his entire fur coat over night, lol!

My youngest son will usually dust and vacuum for me when he's home but sometimes I don't want to wait until he is home and able to do it so I go ahead and do it for him.

Sometimes we stick to a routine without ever thinking about whether it's working for us.

So far this is working for me.  Don't be afraid to evaluate your routines this week, whether it's a cleaning routine, work routine, exercise routine or home routine.

Make sure that they are working for you NOW.  Things change all the time, and our routines sometimes must adapt to that and change too!

What are you doing or going to do today to make your home sing? Please go here for instructions and/or ideas and come back here to link up to join us today!
