Making Your Home Sing Monday Linky Party

Making your home sing Mondays

Welcome to the Making Your Home Sing Monday linky party!  Every day you are doing something to make your house into a home for yourself and your family (if you have one).

My point with each Monday post is, what are YOU doing or going to do today to make your home sing?  It can be an attitude or an action. So have fun, do some blog hopping, and link up!  Thanks!

Topics can include marriage, parenting, encouraging women, organization, cleaning, saving money, our behavior and attitudes, homemaking, homeschooling, recipes.....the opportunities are endless.

Note: We had 103 linkups last week!  You guys are awesomely amazing and amazingly awesome!  Don't forget to visit one another and try to leave a comment on at least one blog to encourage someone today!  :)

On the left sidebar (down towards the bottom) is the "Making Your Home Sing! Monday" button which I'd love for you to grab and paste into your post!  It is a "no-follow" button.

Do you ever go into your week with big plans of all the things that you want to accomplish that week, and then at the end of the week you feel like you didn't accomplish anything?

Yeah.....me neither.......

Seriously though, one thing that really helps keep me on track is my to-do list.  It not only helps me remember things but it is tangible PROOF that I have actually accomplished something.

I love that thing.  Sometimes I even write stuff on there that I have already done JUST so I can cross them off.  It's a sickness, really.

There can be TWO problems with my to-do list though.

The first problem is that sometimes I don't make one.

The second problem is that sometimes I forget to check it when I DO make it.

Not making a list leaves me at the mercy of my already-fading memory.  Forgetting to check it when I DO make it is, again, leaving me helplessly depending on my already over-taxed brain which is struggling to remember everything I'm supposed to be doing and everywhere I'm supposed to be.

I can be VERY organized when it comes to certain areas of my life, and very unorganized when it comes to other areas.

But aren't we all?  At least, I  kind of hope we're all that way!   I don't want to be the only one!  ;)

This is why, for the most part, I DEPEND on my planner and to-do list in which I write everything down that I don't want to forget, and put little stars next to the most important ones.

Somedays it seems like EVERYTHING on my list is the most important.  Sigh.

Do YOU use a to-do list?
