Making Your Home Sing Monday Linky Party

Making your home sing Mondays

Welcome to the Making Your Home Sing Monday linky party!  Every day you are doing something to make your house into a home for yourself and your family (if you have one).

My point with each Monday post is, what are YOU doing or going to do today to make your home sing?  It can be an attitude or an action. So have fun, do some blog hopping, and link up!  Thanks!

Topics can include marriage, parenting, encouraging women, organization, cleaning, saving money, our behavior and attitudes, homemaking, homeschooling, recipes.....the opportunities are endless.

Note: We had 135 linkups last week!  I think it's a little low due to the holidays but I so appreciate those of you that linked up!  You guys are awesomely amazing and amazingly awesome!  Don't forget to visit one another and try to leave a comment on at least one blog to encourage someone today!  :)

On the left sidebar (down towards the bottom) is the "Making Your Home Sing! Monday" button which I'd love for you to grab and paste into your post!  It is a "no-follow" button.

I think January is a good time to start decluttering.

Well, ANY time is a good time to start decluttering, but January in particular seems like a good time to jump right in.

After all, it's the start of a new year, right?  So it's a good time to start some new habits.

It's also cold outside (for many of us) and so we're forced to spend a little more time indoors. All that forced hibernation is made more bearable (do you see what I did there?) by having a neat and orderly home to "hibernate" in.

It's also a time of year (again, for some of us) that not much is happening.  There are no summer activities to pull us away, no huge holidays to prepare for, and not much bbq happening to pull us outside and away.

So it seems as good a time as any to get organized.

Don'tcha think?

If you've been looking or waiting for an opportunity, wait no longer.  Just jump right in where you are and get moving!

Are you overwhelmed by a room, a cabinet, a drawer or a closet?

Are you waiting for big blocks of time so that you can get it decluttered?

Wait no longer.  Those big blocks of time don't always come our way.

Use the little minutes in your possession and declutter a little here and a little there.  Even five minutes of decluttering will make a dent if you do it every day.

So that's what I've been doing lately, as I said last week.  I'm using the little minutes.

Not much else happening around here.

Let's see what YOU'VE all been up to!

What are you doing or going to do today to make your home sing? Please go here for instructions and/or ideas and come back here to link up to join us today!
