"31 Days To A Better Marriage Series" Starting Today (I am a contributor)

I am so excited to tell you about a marriage series for the month of October that is starting today that I am a part of.   It's called 31 Days To A Better Marriage and it's hosted by Jolene Engle at her blog The Alabaster Jar.

There will be 30 women contributing to this series (including me!).  We are sharing from our hearts and lives, sharing tears of pain and struggles we have gone through, grace and mercy and lessons we have learned, and just sharing from our hearts about the things God has shown us in our marriages.

Each day in October, you will hear from wives who were not believers when they married, wives who are married to unbelievers, wives that are pastor's wives (like ME!), etc.

In the series, the wives will be talking about:

  • Years of messy marriage
  • Financial struggles and difficulties
  • Dealing with addictions or marriage betrayal
  • Wishing he would change
  • Ways to encourage your husband to lead
  • Losing a child
  • Dealing with stress
  • Living with cancer
.........and many, many more topics.......

We are real wives who are living and struggling, or have struggled, with real issues and are sharing our hearts from our place of pain, how God gave us the grace to overcome, what we learned along the way, how He has stretched and transformed us, and what we do to keep our marriages alive and thriving!  With 30 women you have a few hundred years of combined marriage experiences!  ;)

Our desire for this series is to affirm you, equip you, encourage you, and inspire you in your God-honoring role as a wife!

I encourage you to subscribe to Jolene's blog so you don't miss ONE MINUTE of this awesome series! Today is day one so grab a cup of coffee or diet pepsi and some m&m's, pull up a chair and pop on over there right now!

In case you're wondering what my future post is about in the series, I'll give you a little hint with the title:
